ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Antonio Reveles-Hernandez. I am working on a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at the University of Northern Colorado. I also work full-time as a quality assurance associate for Wal-Mart’s Supply Chain.

At the University of Northern Colorado, I have taken a variety of classes that have helped me learn, appreciate, and care for the environment. I discovered that Environmental and Sustainability Studies was the major for me because it is a multidisciplinary approach to the environment. I have taken courses in geology, chemistry, calculus, economics, geography, and environmental and sustainability studies. I enjoy learning about different things.

I have worked for Wal-Mart’s Supply Chain since May 19th, 2015. I started working for their distribution center in Loveland, Colorado. After a year, I transferred to a brand new distribution center in Mankato, Minnesota. My passion for learning led me to train to do jobs for different departments. I asked for more learning opportunities and applied to take their Train the Trainer training course. I successfully took their training course and started training new associates. I transferred back to Loveland, Colorado, and got promoted to their Quality Assurance department.

During my time working for Wal-Mart’s Supply Chain, I learned that I enjoy training, teaching, and helping people. I decided to combine my two passions, the environment, and teaching, and pursue a career in environmental education. My next step in my career is to get into graduate school and get a master’s degree.
